Created circa 1915, these Edwardian tassel pendant earrings are composed of diamonds, pearls and platinum. Each is designed with a diamond top suspending scrolling fronds and a central cascade of leafy diamond vines with drop-shaped pearl terminal, flanked by seed pearl tassels with foliate platinum caps. Imbued with sway and sparkle, these highly flexible pendant earrings are playful and glamorous at once.

These delicate but impactful earrings belong to the "Garland Style," an early 20th century revival of Ancien Regime jewelry, ornament and architectural design, focussed on leafy and scrolling swags, cascades, ribbon bows and draped elements, executed in diamonds, pearls and platinum to achieve a luminous and sparkling white palette.
