Macklowe Gallery is proud to be both a contributor and facilitator of museum acquisitions, both nationally and internationally since we opened our doors in 1971. With pieces at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Dallas Museum of Art, The Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and more, the highly-esteemed assortment of jewelry, decorative arts, and furniture housed at Macklowe Gallery are unquestionably of great historical importance. Ranging from Tiffany Studios New York's renowned "Dragonfly" lamps, Alphonse Mucha's beautifully-hued and masterfully-designed lithographs, and Émile Gallé's naturalistically-inspired, wheel-carved cameo glass vases, these pieces are either identical or remarkably similar to, recent acquisitions we were honored to be a part of.
