The Parisian atelier of Georges Lenfant is increasingly appreciated as the master goldsmiths who helped bring to life many of the celebrated styles of the major French houses, realizing their designs, and also offering them their own work for resale. Tiffany too sought out Lenfant's work for sale in Paris and New York. A New York Times article on Georges and Jacques Lenfant, tracing the firm's history from the 19th century, forsees this jewelers' jeweler "finally getting the recognition they deserve."
