The ring has an oval ruby with an approximate weight of 2.13 carats, and 10 old mine cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 2.00 carats. The ring is composed in a classic English Raj cluster motif with bezel set ruby and floral bezel set diamonds. The shoulders of the ring are composed in an open work lyre motif. Antique Emerald Diamond Platinum and Gold Cluster Ring

An Edwardian 18 karat gold and platinum ring with emerald and diamonds. The ring centers on a Colombian emerald with an approximate weight of 4.50 carats, which is framed with two rows of old mine-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of .77 carat. The emerald is certified by the American Gemological Laboratory certificate #CS 69904 which states the emerald has "insignificant traditional treatment" and the country of origin is Colombia. Antique Emerald Diamond Platinum and Gold Cluster Ring

Marcus & Company Art Nouveau Peridot, Diamond, Gold and Enamel Ring

An American Art Nouveau gold, peridot, diamond and enamel ring by Marcus & Co. The unique Renaissance Revival motif features green enameled 18-karat gold, two round-cut peridots totaling approximately 1.60 carats, and 30 round-cut diamonds that weigh approximately 1.20 carats. The Renaissance Revival design influence is carried onto the ring shank culminating in a diamond set into the ring shank bottom. During the first decade of the twentieth century Marcus & Co. offered a variety of Revivalist style jewelry. Egyptian inspired pieces along with Renaissance Revival and Mughal style which were created. Marcus & Co. was also one of the few firms in the United States to create jewelry featuring plique-a-jour enameling, a trend very popular in French Art Nouveau jewelry of the time. They also offered the standard diamond and platinum jewelry popular at the time. Each piece was meticulously crafted, and though there are no official documents crediting George Marcus with the design of the pieces, his credits at the Boston Arts and Crafts Exhibition and later Exhibition at the Rhode Island School of Design attest to his design standing. A French Belle Epoque pink sapphire and diamond ring set in platinum. The classic cluster ring centers on an oval Ceylon pink sapphire weighing 3.87 carats, surrounded by 11 old mine-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.32 carats. French control mark. American Gemological Laboratory certificate # CS 64359 stating that the center stone is natural corundum pink sapphire from Ceylon; low temperature heating. Trabert & Hoeffer Mauboussin Art Deco Yellow Diamond, Emerald and Platinum Ring

An American Art Deco diamond, emerald and platinum ring by Trabert & Hoeffer Mauboussin. This ring has a yellow cushion-cut diamond with an approximate weight of 1.75 carats, and an emerald-cut emerald with an approximate weight of 1.65 carats mounted in a stylized Art Deco stepped platinum ring. "From the mid-1930s through the 1940s, the collaboration of the American jewelry firm Trabert & Hoeffer with the Parisian house Mauboussin produced some of the most extraordinary high-style jewels of its time. Hollywood stars such as Claudette Colbert and Marlene Dietrich appeared on-screen and off flashing the firm's historic gems mounted in diamond-studded platinum settings. Even during the Depression and World War II, Trabert & Hoeffer Mauboussin prospered and expanded across the country not only by continuing to supply stylish custom jewelry to celebrities and socialites, but also by marketing more affordable ornaments. Its best-known invention was the Reflection line of semi-custom jewelry—"Your personality in a jewel." Crafted from interchangeable parts, it made a bold new moderne look available to a wider range of customers by allowing them to mix and match preconstructed parts with their own choice of gemstones." The ring has a center old European-cut diamond with an approximate weight of .50 carat flanked by 4 calibre cut sapphires, and a round-cut sapphire with an approximate weight of .57 carat flanked by 4 single cut diamonds. The ring is made as a double gypsy ring with the diamonds and sapphires in a 'ying-yang' motif of positive-negative color. Ring size 7; this ring can be sized.
