A Lapis Lazuli and Black Jade Bangle in Gold by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.

An American Late-20th Century 18 karat gold hinged bangle by Angela Cummings. The gold bangle is specially inlaid with hard stones - a great technical innovation of the time, and achievable only by the most skilled of jewelers - of lapis lazuli and black jade. The lapis, jade and gold striations are dynamically stylized in a repetitive wave-like motif.
