AAW: Macklowe Gallery Expands to New Midtown Location

Macklowe Gallery’s expansion on Park Avenue featured in Antiques & The Arts Weekly

Antiques and The Arts Weekly is the nation’s leading weekly publication on the antiques and the arts trade, and is available both in print and online. Each issue includes reporting on auctions, antiques shows and the arts while providing a platform for both buying and selling.

On pg. 34 of its November 6 - November 10 issue, President Ben Macklowe is interviewed about the unveiling of Macklowe Gallery's new location at 445 Park Avenue. Situated on the southeast corner of 57th Street, Macklowe will be joining neighbors that include Heritage Auctions and Phillips, cementing a new crossroads as an art and antiques hub for collectors of fine arts.

“With all of the challenges faced by luxury retailers in today’s marketplace, we are thrilled to announce that Macklowe Gallery is growing, thanks to our existing clients and a new generation of passionate collectors,” explains Ben — who took over leadership from his parents Lloyd and Barbara, but said he never lost sight of their vision for the gallery.
