The brooch has 60 oval cabochon moonstones with an approximate total weight of 45.00 carats, 40 round-cut sapphires with an approximate total weight of 2.40 carats, 44 round-cut rubies with an approximate total weight of 2.60 carats, and 23 round-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.05 carats. The sizable brooch is designed as a flowering branch. With documentation of this brooch, made with different gem stones by John Rubel."This piece (in coral, turquoises and diamonds), produced in 1945, is inspired by nature like many of Rubel's pieces in that period."
