Sotheby's Institute of Art

For forty years Sotheby's Institute of Art has been preparing students for careers in the international art world.

Sotheby's vision is to be universally acknowledged as the premier provider of advanced object-based art education, whose graduates combine passion for the visual arts with scholarship and market sophistication in order to flourish as leaders in the international art world.

Degrees are awarded by the University of Manchester in the UK and combine professional training with academic study.

In New York Sotheby's offers three full-time graduate-level programmes in Art Business, Contemporary Art and American Fine & Decorative Art.

A variety of 4-week Summer Study courses take place in New York as well as a series of new Short courses in the Fall for those who have an active interest in art and art business but have limited time.
